Barrier Breakers Unlimited

Empowering Futures,
One Breakthrough at a Time

Barrier Breakers Unlimited Inc. (BBU) is a comprehensive, future-focused program dedicated to empowering students with disabilities and struggling learners as they transition from high school into adulthood.

Founded in 2024 by Regina Christian-Massey—a passionate educator, former special education teacher and administrator, national presenter, and devoted mother—BBU is both a personal mission and a professional movement. It was created out of the urgent need to better support young adults who often exit the school system unprepared for the challenges of everyday life.

At BBU, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive. Our program fills the gap in traditional education by offering a continuum of care grounded in dignity, belonging, and independence.

The Continuum

The Continuum is not just a place, it’s a movement that lives within the community.

While our home base is located in the heart of Atlanta, The Continuum meets young adults where they are—physically and emotionally. We partner with local libraries, kitchens, faith-based spaces, and community centers to deliver workshops and life skills training throughout the region. This flexible, community-powered learning approach helps us make learning accessible, reducing transportation barriers, and immersing participants in real-world environments.

Whether students are cooking in a community kitchen, practicing social skills in a local rec room, or attending a budgeting workshop at a library, they are building confidence, purpose, and independence through hands-on, inclusive experiences.

The Continuum welcomes young adults ages 14 to 24 and offers a safe, affirming space—wherever we gather—to learn, grow, and prepare for adulthood on their terms.
